Update

Getting really bad at updating this page.  You can blame Facebook for that.
After the 8th grade dance we celebrated the end of middle school.  I was so glad for that part of the their lives to end.  While they are growing up fast, middle school is just a different world.  I think we should go back to k-7 in elementary and 8-12 in high.  They looked beautiful on their last day.  They both did very well their 8th grade year.

June and July were busy months.  Cheerleading and band practice were going full force between practice and camps.  I think they enjoyed it.  They made a lot of new friends and bonded with old ones.  Sophie was a junior counselor at FFA horse camp for 2 weeks.  She loved it and caught her first fish.  Maddie had fun at the square for 4th of July.

We are now into August and are full swing with everything.  School started and they are both in 9th grade.  We've had 2 football games and won both.  The first game Sophie didn't get to march because of the weather, but the second game the band marched and they were awesome.  Competition season starts in September for cheer.  The girls are doing great in school.  They are killing high school.  I know they are going to love it and they are going to do very well.
