Happy Birthday Maddie

Today Maddie turns 11.  Time sure is flying.  I still really wish it would slow down just a little bit.  In honor of her turning 11 here are 11 questions and her answers.

She is 4ft 11ins and 90lbs.  She is funny, hard headed and loved by many especially us.  Happy Birthday Maddie Mei.  So glad God brought you to us.

Maddie and Daddy's birthday

Today is a joint celebration in the house.  Maddie and daddy share a birthday. I'm not going to tell you how old her daddy is, plus he's given Maddie all of the birthday's.  Maddie turned 10 though.  The girl is finally in double digits.  She has finally caught up with all of her friends.  I'm not ready for her to be 10... she's already hormonal..ugh.  Here are some bullets about Maddie.

• Her nickname at gym is "Show Pony".  At practice she goofs off, but at the meet she is a true performer.  She does want to try rhythmic gymnastics.  I think she would be very good at it.  You can follow her gymnastics career here :).
• She still loves pink.  I'm ready for the pink phase to go away maybe just a little bit.
• She is all diva.  She likes things to be a particular way and is a perfectionist.  
• Loves fried rice, ribs, steak and bacon.  She can put away some food.
• Can't live without her Ipod.
• She wants to be on TV or in a magazine so bad she can't stand it.

We love you Maddie Mei and are so glad that you are a part of our family. 

Sophie's Birthday

Sophie celebrates her 11th birthday today. My goodness she's growing up fast. I can't believe we have a tween. We are so blessed to have her in our family. She brings fun, spunk, laughter and joy.  Here are some Sophie bullets.

• Loves horses.  She loves to ride and it shows.  
• Loves playing outside and riding bikes.
• Still loves purple, but I think blue is creeping in there.
• Math is her best subject.
• Still loves to watch Disney Jr and PBS kids.
• Loves the Dawgs

We love you so much Sophie.  We don't know what we would do without you.
