Sunday Snapshot - Father/Daughter dance

Last night our Girl Scout troop hosted the council Father/Daughter dance.  It wasn't a very big crowd, but I think those that came enjoyed themselves.  The girls had a blast.  They loved dressing up like back in the "olden" days.  We played a mix of today's music and 80s.  It was funny, the first time I switched to 80s the girls immediately stopped dancing and one of them asked what it was.... ha ha.. It was good music girls...just wait until you are older and then your kids ask what kind of "classic" music you are listening to.
I did the photo booth.  I love how the pictures came out so bright.

Those are little Pac Man and Ghost and cassettes that I made.

They loved it.

One of my favorites from the night.

Sunday Snapshot: Animals

Maddie inspired me today.  She went out and took some pictures of the dogs, so I took some pictures of the cat.  She got some really good ones of the dogs.  She loves those animals with all of her heart.  Both of them do.

Hey Baby

What?

Two buddies walking off together.

Like she needs help getting taller.

Ella or Elvis - we aren't sure if it's a boy or girl yet.

Got it.

Sunday Snapshot

Yesterday I took the girls to a new park.  I loved the park, hated the $5 fee.  Oh well, I did get some beautiful shots of some beautiful girls.
My favorite of Maddie. I boosted it with the Sunshine action from Prairie Woman.
Love this one and how the background came out

Used the Seventies action from Prairie Woman

I loved how this one came out with the Sunshine action from Prairie Woman

I think is my second favorite of Maddie

Love this one of Sophie

I am participating in Sunday Snapshots this week.  Click here to go and check out some more beautiful pictures.  I used my Nikon D3000.  I'm still learning about all of the different functions, that's why I do all of my photoshoots with the girls.  It does help having beautiful models.

Sunday Snapshot

We just got back from the beach tonight.  I wanted to post this for this weeks Sunday snapshot.  It's my favorite photo of Maddie that I took this week.  She looks like a little surfer girl and she loved it.  Loved the little lift of her foot.

This one is my favorite of Sophie.  I loved the water coming down and she had a huge grin on her face. She had so much fun playing in the water this year.  She loved it and was more confident.

We had a great time and I will post more pictures later.  Both pictures were taken with my Nikon D3000 in sport mode.  I had to get it quick.  I used Prairie Woman's photoshop actions on both.  I used the Seventies version on Maddie's and Sunshine on Sophie's.

Sunday Snapshot - photoshoot

Every now and then I like to take the girls to the local park and do a photoshoot.  They have turned out to be some of my favorite pictures and are much cheaper than hiring someone ;).  Yesterday the weather was beautiful and we had a lot of fun.  The girls helped me come up with different poses and cooperated very well.  I just wish Maddie would smile bigger.  All of these pictures were shot with my Nikon D3000 and using auto mode.  I'm still working on using all of the other modes and really need to practice.

This one is my favorite. It was a little tricky to get and then I had to photoshop a foot out and add the line back in.  I do love it though.  It was fun to do.

I lightened this one in photoshop.

They thought it was hilarious to pretend in front of the train.

A guy asked her if she was a gymnast or cheerleader and she was quick to point out that she was most definitely a gymnast.

Another pageant face

Handstands anywhere.

They are their own circus.

I love how this one came out.

I tried to steer clear of the twig beside Maddie.  I ended up breaking it off.
