I heart faces - Wind

This weeks I heart faces challenge is wind. I took the girls out and did a mini photo shoot. This was Maddie spinning in and the wind blowing her hair. I loved how it came out. I used the Pioneer Woman's 70's photoshop action. I love how it came out.

I heart faces - Slice of Life

This weeks I heart faces challenge is Slice of Life. I took this picture last night when we got back from Maddie's Prep Op State meet. Even though she didn't come home with a bunch of medals, she had a great time and did really well. We are very proud of her. This picture is her with gymnastics Barbie and Kelly and my old New Kids on the Block doll. She decided the NKTB doll was her Coach Alex, Barbie was coach Allie and Kelly was her. I loved how she was concentrating. When she was in her room I heard coach Allie tell Maddie to do something. That kid (both of them actually) has a great imagination.

I heart faces - Sun flare

This weeks I heart faces challenge is sun flare. I debated about which picture to enter because I have several, but I kept coming back to this one. It was taken on the beach in Hilton Head and I just love it. It was such a beautiful day and the girls were having a blast on the beach. I love how the sun is shining on the ocean. I heart faces - People's choice

This weeks entry over at I Heart Faces is People's choice. All the picture needs to have is a face. I love this picture of the girls playing the creek. They had so much fun and it was such a beautiful day. I don't think Becca meant to fall in after she flipped over the tree, but it turned out perfectly. I love the look on her face. She still has a smile has she's going down. The look of shock on Sophie's face is pretty funny. Those girls were nasty when they got finished.

I heart faces - Innocent Wonder

This weeks I heart faces challenge is innocent wonder. This was Maddie at one of the 2 Braves games we went to this summer. I just love the look of concentration and innocence on her face. I've always wondered what she was thinking about. Was she thinking about how many runs the Braves had? Who was coming up to bat? I bet she was thinking about if she was going to get a slurpee or an ice cream cone.

I heart faces - Scenic B&W

This weeks I heart faces challenge is Scenic B&W. I took this picture of AJ, Sophie and Maddie walking through the woods to the creek when we had about 8 inches of snow. They had a blast and enjoyed the snow so much. We don't get much of it down here. I hope we get just a little this winter. This weeks I ♥ faces challenge is about being over my head. This picture is of the girls and one of our photo shoots. I laid down on the ground and had them stand over me while I took their picture. I loved how it came out. It's kind of like they are flying.

This weeks I ♥ faces challenge is about teens. It's hard to get Brandon to smile for a picture. He always has to have some goofy look on his face or his thumbs up or something like that. I love this picture of him and Hannah. It shows what a wonderful relationship they have. He is 6 months older than his aunt and they are like brother and sister. I wish we lived closer so that they could spend more time with each other. I am very proud of both of them. Brandon is so smart and funny and Hannah is so smart and beautiful. I love them both very much.

This weeks I ♥ faces challenge is about collages. I love collages. They can tell a great story or save room. Here is a collage I made of the girls walking the dog or it probably should have been the dog walking the girls. I love the picture of Maddie with her hand on her hip. She can be so sassy. This weeks I ♥ faces challenge is about being bundled up. We don't usually get much snow or cold weather, but this year we did get some snow and a whole bunch of weather. This weeks I ♥ faces challenge is about dancing. Today we went to the Capital with Brandon while he was a page at the Senate. I took the girls over to Underground Atlanta and they found a little stage to dance on. I love this picture of Sophie. I love how her little feet aren't even touching the ground. I ♥ faces - Sweet Dreams

This weeks challenge on I ♥ faces is sweet dreams. I took this picture of Sophie when we were in Guangzhou. I took her shopping all over the island all day and I think I wore her out. I was at the computer and she was on the bed watching TV and eating cookies. I turned around and I saw that she was sound asleep with her hand still in the cookie bag. I ♥ faces - Excitement

This weeks I ♥ faces challenge is excitement. This challenge is great. I love excitement in their little faces. It was hard to chose, but this one is my favorite. It was Sophie on the beach this summer. We were waiting for the fireworks on 4th of July and the girls were loving playing in the sand. Can't you just see the excitement and the joy in her face? I ♥ faces - Contemplative

This weeks challenge is contemplative faces. I took this picture of Maddie while we were at Six Flags riding a ride. I don't know what she was thinking. Maybe she was thinking about how fun the ride was, how hot it was, how she was getting dizzy, how she loved being there with Iris or who knows what. This was one of my favorite pictures from the day.
I loved the way my camera took the picture. All I did was use Lightroom and brighten it up just a little bit.
