December photo challenge

I saw this December photo a day challenge on Pinterest and thought I'd participate.  I've been kind of lagging behind on keeping this update and I really do need to try.

Today's challenge was to take a picture at 8 o'clock.  Either 8 in the morning or 8 at night.  I did it at night because during the morning we were getting ready to go to the Christmas parade.  Sophie was riding with the Girl Scouts today.

On a side note if you watch Vampire Diaries it is filmed in my city. I don't watch it so I have no idea what it is about.  Here is the replica of City Hall that the prop department made as well as the $2000 government waste trailer that was made for it.  The Mystic Grill is apparently something used in the show.  It's not a real place.

Oh yeah and Dukes of Hazzard was filmed here as well :).

Anyway, here is my 8 o'clock picture.  I needed a Christmas picture to update the header so I took on of the girls by the tree while I was watching the Bulldogs almost win.
