Maddie

In my quest to do a post a day for 30 days, I thought I would share a little about the kids. I will start youngest to oldest.
Maddie is 7 going on 21. She is from Chengdu CWI which is in the Sichuan Province of China. She came home in 11/04 when she was 14 months old. Here are some bullets about Maddie.

• She wears her emotions on her sleeve. You can always tell what that child is feeling.
  
• She has a temper and can be very bossy.
• She has an amazing imagination.
  
• She loves animals and whenever she sees an animal on the side of the road, she thinks we have to bring it home.
• She is an excellent student and probably a little bit of a kiss up in class.
• She loves to wear her skinny jeans and pink. That's really all she will wear. When I wash the girls clothes I have a stack of multi colored (Sophie) and a stack of all pink (Maddie) and I mean all pink.
• Loves Taylor Swift and Victorious. Has thankfully grown out of Wizard's of Waverly Place and Sonny with a Chance.
• Loves to play outside. I think she would rather be outside than inside, especially when it rains.
• She eats all the time. I know it's because she plays and works out so much, but she is always eating.
• Her favorite food is rice.
  
• She loves gymnastics and swimming. Watching her at gym is so amazing. She has learned so much in the last 3 years. Rumor has it they are skipping level 4 and moving to level 5, but we won't know for sure until the summer.
  

She is a great kid and we love her very much. She can be mean sometimes, but then turn around and be sweet as sugar. She doesn't know a stranger and has more friends than I do :).
