This past Friday little Sophie turned 8. She was excited that it was her birthday. We did the usual and took cupcakes to school and she got a little crown. We then went to dinner after gym. Saturday the family came over and we celebrated a bunch of birthdays. It was great! Sophie loved every minute of it.
I can't believe she's 8. It doesn't seem that long ago that I met a scared 4 year old little girl in a conference room in Dandong. She has really blossomed since then. Here are a few things about our crazy little Sophie.
1 - She is the sweetest. She loves everyone and doesn't know a stranger.
2 - She is very outspoken. Just ask her 1st grade teacher about her watermelon behind.
3 - She lets her sister get away with murder. Sophie is definitely the Beta sister. She will take all kinds of stuff from Maddie. Not that Maddie mean, but she just likes to run all over her.
4 - She is such a joy to us all.
We love you Sophie lu and can't wait to see you grow more.
