Week 4

Week 4 was filled with the usual... gymnastics and work. Maddie got to try on her size for her team leotard and warmup. She was so excited and can't wait. I moved Sophie up to the silver level. It's basically level 1, but in prep op. She won't be competing yet, but if she does in prep op she doesn't have to do backwards rolls. It's been so hot here. The girls have been playing inside and driving everyone crazy. I want to buy them a pool, but there are some neighbor kids who would come and get in it and tear it up so we can't. That's disappointing that we have to not get something because of these two kids. The girls have become BFFL's (best friends for life) with two girls two house down. They have been spending the night there and the girls have been here. I'm glad they have someone to play with instead of just each other. It helps. I took them all to see Toy Story 3 on Saturday. I bawled like a baby. It was a wonderful movie. I can't wait for the DVD :). Here are some pictures of our garden. It's doing very well this year. Top left is watermelon, top right is better boy tomatoes, bottom left is cherry tomatoes and bottom right is a pumpkin. There were lots of flowers on the pumpkin vine, but I've only found one pumpkin so far.
