1 down, 8 to go

I thought we had 7 more weeks of summer, but today I counted… we have 8.  Oh well, it’s been busy so far.  Maddie spends 8 hours a week at gym and Sophie spends an hour.  They are both loving it.  Maddie had a little evaluation thing for team today.  It was to see what progress they have made and where they need to work before competitions start in August.  Maddie did great.  They gave little medals at the end and she got first place.  She was so excited.  Sophie was excited on Thursday that she got to do handstands on beam.  I was really worried about my decision to let her do it at first, but she loves it and I think it’s working out great!

The girls have been busy playing outside and staying up way to late.  Bedtimes have flown out the window.  I guess that’s what the summer is for, but I’m ready for them to go back to bed at normal time :).  They are getting along well, but they fight and that’s getting really old.  They have rediscovered their Barbie’s and have been playing with those.

Brandon is doing great.  He took the SAT today.  I’m sure he did really well.  I’m very proud of him and the grades and scores he gets.  I’m sure he will do well at college.

     I did a photo shoot of the girls last Sunday and this one was my favorite.  I changed the color using Lightroom.  I love how it came out.  Here are some more.
