Where to start?

Well it's been awhile since there was an update here, so I guess it's time. We've been busy and I just haven't gotten around to updating.

1. I never posted about the Georgia game. It was so much fun and was so awesome. It was my first game and we had awesome seats. The only bad part was the rain. Oh the rain. We had to walk several miles from our car to the stadium in pouring down rain with cars running over puddles and getting absolutely socked to the bone. My shoes were wet for days, but it was well worth it. We won so it was even better. Thanks honey for taking me.

2. Disney on Ice was awesome! The girls loved it. Maddie was just shaking with excitement waiting for it to start. Sophie was enthralled. They loved the music and the skaters. Maddie's favorite part was Lilo and Sophie's favorite part was the Mad Hatter from Alice in Wonderland. My favorite part was seeing their eyes and their faces. It made me cry and I was so thankful that I was able to win those tickets.

3. We went to the Georgia National Fair in Perry. We go just about every year. We missed last year because of the rain. This year was supposed to be sunny and cool. Perfect fair weather, right? Well it was overcast and very cool. it was still fun though. The girls got to ride several rides they wanted to and they also got to ride the ponies that they had been dying to ride. Maddie has ridden Maggie every year she has gone and Sophie has ridden Rosie every year she has gone. They love those horses. I asked Maddie what she would do if Maggie wasn't there and she said she would cry. I think she was actually relieved to see Maggie hooked up and waiting for her. To see previous years go here and here.

4. I went with the girls to the coolest ranch for a field trip this past week. It was so much fun. We talked to Abraham Lincoln, an Indian, mashed corn, went through a corn maze, jumped on a big pillow, went down an underground slide and went on a tractor ride. I don't think they were to impressed since daddy takes them on tractor rides all the time, but they still had fun.

That's about it for now. Next week is the usual gymnastics, baton and dance. The following week adds basketball into that schedule. Sophie is so excited.
